The Scotties aren’t simply pets who occasionally wander into photographs. They are companions, characters, professional interrupters and a fairly effective management committee.

Each has a completely different personality. Together they have become part of the language, humour and mythology of Untamed Nomad — which is why they get a whole corner of this world to themselves.

Evangeline — The Fun Police

Damelza’s sister, mum to Eliza and Beulah, and the clan’s self-appointed keeper of order. Gentle, loving and always ready to remind everyone to behave themselves.

Angus — The Gentleman

Our gentle giant in spirit. Calm, dignified and watchful as a lion guarding his pride. Takes life in his stride, but never underestimate his protective side.

Amelia — The Sweetheart

The eldest of the youngsters and the kindest soul imaginable. Loves absolutely everyone and is happiest when we’re off on another adventure together.

My boy and the clan’s resident joker. Loves an adventure and a trip to the pub, where he’ll happily disappear with the locals to enjoy a little extra attention.

Mischief-maker, fearless guardian and fiercely independent. Hates being tied down, has a bite to match her bark and believes rules are entirely optional.

Beulah — The Baby

The youngest, utterly adorable and spoiled rotten. Full of mischief, enormous character and already holding her own amongst the older clan members.

Be curious about everything. Never turn down an adventure. Love your people fiercely. Find joy in the smallest things. And whenever possible, take the scenic route — preferably somewhere with interesting smells.

Something rather curious is taking shape.

Stories, characters, Scottish landscapes, seasonal adventures, curious objects and limited treasures — a slightly secret world is beginning to grow around the clan.
